SAFE TRANSFER - Safe Transfer a long time before the company Safe Transfer was established, one of the former owners of ESVAGT A/S decided to develop the world´s safest transfer basket. This basket was sold and known as the “ESVAGT” basket. Therefore, focusing on safety we are proud to say, that we have probably, the world’s most secure personnel transfer basket. In 2014 the ownership was given to Safe Transfer A/S – a company owned by West-Marine A/S. The owner is Kent Kirk, and he also owns the company Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S. The idea of making the safest personnel transfer basket in the world is more true than ever. We even continuously enhance the safety of the basket. Starting with a 4-person transfer basket we now have several versions even adapted to personal needs. The latest basket being a sit-down basket is designed and fully approved according to the Norsok r002:2017 standard.

Our unique 1145-4-N basket has achieved the NORSOK R002:2017 approval and is fully certified according to this high standard by DNV-GL.
The Personnel Basket Briefly
The Safe Transfer Personnel Basket Norsok approved is “non-collapsible”, 100% manufactured in the EU, and made of AISI316L stainless steel welded to form a corrosion-resistant rigid frame. The flooring is made in 5 mm aluminum plates with a non-skid surface.
All screws, nuts, and bolts are made in AISI 316 stainless steel to be well protected when in offshore operation.
Lifting Sling for the basket Norsok Approved
The lifting sling contains two independent slings, one of which is an elastic compensator the other either a chain-sling or a wire-sling depending on the customers’ wish. Each of the slings carries the basket with its payload, in case the other sling collapses.
Available in a length of 3mtr. or 5mtr. the lifting sling is attached to the crane hook with two large master links sizes 32*270*140 (mm).

In 1985, ESVAGT introduced the first personnel basket capable of accommodating up to 4 people – the 1145-4. This high-quality basket was developed with a focus on safety and constructed to meet the highest possible standards.
Built from durable AISI 316l stainless steel with shock absorption, the rigid, non-foldable structure has undergone continual improvement to ensure the highest level of safety for personnel. The 1145-4 basket remains a trusted solution for safe and comfortable personnel transfer.
