Pneumatic rotary actuators – general information

Pneumatic rotary actuators are used to automate the components of a pneumatic system, such as ball valves, throttle valves, etc. Due to these applications, pneumatic actuators with 90° swing angle are the most popular. Versions with 120° or 180° swing angle are available to special order. A single-acting actuator is forced to take a resting position by springs and does not require compressed air supply. In a double-acting version, both closing and opening take place via compressed air.
